Founded in 2012 as Groundwater Partners Inc., we started with a clear mission: to support our most vital natural resource, specializing in groundwater remediation and water resource management. Thirteen years later, our name remains the same—Ground | Water Partners Inc., but our capabilities and services have expanded. Today, we offer a broad range of expertise, including engineering services, earthwork solutions, and pipeline and utility support, in addition to our initial groundwater focus.

While our project portfolio and experience are varied, our approach remains consistent: we provide technical solutions to complex challenges, driven by strategic planning and an unwavering commitment to safety and partnership. We listen to our clients, honor our commitments, support the teams executing the work, and take pride in the successful outcomes of each project.

Our collaborative, partnering approach sets us apart. We work seamlessly with large engineering firms, government agencies, general contractors, consultants, and energy/ utility companies. We believe in the power of listening, delivering results, and ensuring that every team member is respected throughout the process.

GWP was very flexible to work with on our large soil remediation project. They had several additional mobilizations due to conflicts with other contractors that were taken in stride. They sponsored 30 project lunches for the entire 50 staff project team. Their invoice process was very good with early invoices and complete backup, which allowed invoice submittal to the owner weeks in advance.

Dan Kwiecinski, PE

Dan Kwiecinski, PE serves as the Chief Operating Officer at GWP, overseeing the firm’s daily operations and ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance and control across all GWP projects. With a strong background in engineering and operations management, Dan is committed to driving business growth through strategic collaboration and efficient execution. With over 40 years of experience, he brings wisdom to his role, optimizing operations in civil and environmental engineering, hydrogeology, and construction services across diverse market sectors.

Carlo A. Evangelisti, PE is a Principal Engineer and Senior Project Manager with GWP’s Engineering/Geotechnical group. With a background in project management and engineering design, Carlo plays a critical role in overseeing and delivering geotechnical projects across public and private sectors.

Jenice Gallegos

As Senior Client Service and Business Development Manager at GWP, Jenice Gallegos drives client relationships across the Southwest. With extensive experience in the AEC industry, she oversees GWP’s client accounts and services, leveraging her extensive background in client acquisition, contract negotiation, and interpersonal communication. Jenice excels at building strong, lasting relationships.

Steve Ashley

With a strong background in construction, heavy equipment, earthwork and excavation, Steve serves as the Operations Manager for GWP.  He oversees all aspects of field operations across multiple states. Before joining GWP, Steve served as the Public Works Department Manager for the City of Napavine, WA, where he managed a variety of public works projects.

Kenneth Hale

As Senior Construction Manager at GWP, Kenneth leads the administration and technical execution of construction projects. He holds certification in U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management and his experience includes general construction, natural resources exploration, earthwork and hazardous waste remediation.
